The first step in transforming inherited, unworn, or sentimental jewelry into something newly meaningful.

Your Heirloom Reclaim Evaluation includes the initial review and physical assessment of the jewelry pieces you’re considering for redesign.

This process may include:

  • intake and documentation of your submitted pieces
  • insured inbound shipping coordination
  • material review and testing
  • stone removal if needed for evaluation
  • assessment of what may be reused in a future custom design
  • review of whether eligible gold or materials may be applied as store credit

If you choose to move forward, a separate design deposit will be collected to begin the custom design process.

Gold trade-in value is offered as store credit only and is determined after physical evaluation based on weight, purity, and current market value.

Materials

All of our designs are crafted from solid 18K gold or platinum, with a commitment to using recycled metals for the majority of our pieces.

We select G/H color, VS quality or higher diamonds, and AAA-grade colored gemstones and pearls to ensure the highest standards of excellence in every design.

Custom Design Process

After our initial consultation and once we've received your deposit, we will begin the discovery phase of your custom design. If you’re resetting an heirloom or using stones you already own, we will provide an insured shipping label along with detailed instructions for sending your valuables to us.

During the discovery phase, please allow 3-5 days for us to review all of the materials and notes from our initial meeting internally. We will then prepare sketches and/or CAD renderings, depending on the intricacy of the design—sometimes we move directly into CAD. You’ll receive a detailed presentation of the sketches or CAD renderings for your review. This process typically takes up to 2 weeks.

Once the design is approved, we will calculate the metal volume and other materials required, and at this point, a 50% deposit of the estimated cost will be requested. The production phase of your piece will then take approximately 4 - 6 weeks. During this time, we can provide progress photos or, if you prefer, keep everything a surprise until the final reveal—it's entirely up to you!

Photographs of your piece will be taken before delivery, and a detailed appraisal will be provided within 2 weeks after delivery. Finally, we will arrange delivery of your piece, ensuring you're available to receive the insured shipment or scheduling a local pickup in Los Angeles.
